I love you... no, I really love you...

Write about the sun as though you love it.  Then write about it as though you hate it.

  1. The sun
I love the sun. I love its rays, full of golden warmth and happiness. I love the feelings it shines into me as I admire the blue skies on a sunny, cloudless day. They are rays of complete and utter peacefulness; they usher calm thoughts and feelings inside you. They sing in tune with your body, like a peaceful melody from a harp. I believe the sun is the source of happiness, and a source of great power and energy.
I hate the sun. I hate its sizzling heat, its torrent of fiery evil. I hate its dazzling brightness, blinding, that’s what it is. It penetrates my skin, burning me from the inside out, dragging everything into its vacuum of clingy smoke. If you get too close to it, it will melt you alive. I also fear the sun, and the damage and destruction it has the potential to cause. Why do we have to live relying on the sun?
